This is the first of a series of workshops that aim to cover aspects of living a healthy life that can be easily incorporated in every day. So often we have the intention to juice, sprout, cook well and then time pressures or by the seeming complexity of making these things stops us from starting. What we want is quick, delicious, densely nutritionally packed and easy.
This workshop looks at sprouting, how to do it, what seeds provide what vitamins and minerals, proteins and trace elements, which sprout quickest and many other tips on how to get the most nutrition from your sprouts. Lucy Shardlow, a nutrionalist, is there to answer all your questions. We will have a session on breathing - how this fundamental constant can be a powerful tool in regulating the body and enhancing general health. There will be a restorative yoga session with crystal bowls that will allow you to sink into deep relaxation and the day ends with a light lunch.
Sprouting jars will be given to take home plus some seeds and grains.
